TESTIMONIALS

We’re so thankful to have met Meryl and Nicole because they rescued and introduced us to our beloved boy, Rojito! They made the adoption process so easy by taking the time to speak with us on multiple occasions and answer all of our questions. We could really sense that while they were eager to find a home for Rojito, they wanted it to be the right fit for for him and for us, which really means a lot. After determining it was a fit, we met Rojito and knew it was destined to be. Nicole continued to foster Rojito while Meryl guided us seamlessly through the final application and within 48 hours we brought our newest family member home. Today, we can’t even remember life before Rojito as we love him to pieces and he’s just the sweetest dog in the world. We continue to be thankful for all the hard work that Meryl and Nicole do to rescue the satos of Puerto Rico and find them loving forever homes.

We first saw Keira on an adoption website when we were starting our search for our second rescue dog.. The details provided about Keira along with her adorable photo made our family decide we would inquire about her. I received a reply back very quickly. Everything sounded perfect with Keira and we decided we wanted to move forward in the adoption process. We went through a very thorough check to ensure we were the right family for Keira and she was the right dog for us. Keira and her foster mom came to our home to meet our family and our other dog to see how everyone got along and if we were set up to welcome her into our home. The foster mom, Mandy, was very open sharing all she knew about Keira and answered all of our questions. The visit went so well that we were approved to adopt Keira and we were very happy to welcome her into our family. Since having Keira join us, she and our other dog are best friends. She is the dog that every little boy wishes for and is my son’s buddy. She comes fishing, swimming, to the beach, etc. with our family and has been a wonderful addition. Our entire experience with Paws4Survival couldn’t have gone any better.

Working with Meryl and Nicole from Paws4Survival was such a great experience! First of all it was no joke! From the first conversation, the paperwork, the references, and finally the home visit they are nothing less than professional and thorough! I loved that they refused to give these animals to just anyone and went above and beyond to assure they went to the best forever homes!

We adopted Marley, aka Marley Moo Moo, a golden retriever/dachshund mix from Puerto Rico. We were nervous but excited about adding another dog since we have a 13 year old Australian Cattle Dog and we were unsure of how she was going to react. It was amazing from the moment Marley hopped out of the car, all our uncertainty disappeared! It was like he was always a part of our family! As I type this he is curled up next to me in his bed and he is as sweet awake as he is asleep! Meryl and Nicole were able to answer any questions or concerns that we had in the time leading up to the adoption and after. I have even sent along some pictures to update them as to how Marley is acclimating. He definitely knows that he belongs to us (or should I say, we belong to him lol) and that this is his forever home!

I can’t thank Meryl and Nicole enough for dedicating themselves to these precious animals. I think of them each day when I open my arms to Marley and he comes in for a long hug and a lot of kisses!

Thank you Meryl, Nicole and Paws4Survival!

Our experience adopting Sasha from Paws4Survival was fantastic. Much thought and consideration are given by Meryl and Nicole so that the best furever home is found for each dog. Meryl was very helpful making arrangements so my husband and I and our pup could meet Sasha. We were welcomed very warmly into Nicole and Marc’s home and had a wonderful visit - we were even able to take Sasha home with us that day. Don’t hesitate to contact Paws4Survival, the dogs come first and that means a lot to us.
